Anatomical Palpation Landmark
Clavicular attachment of Sternocleidomastoid (SCM), ~2-3 cm lateral to sternoclavicular joint.
Patient Positioning Protocol
Supine. Flex neck markedly, sidebend TOWARDS the affected side, rotate AWAY from the affected side (STAR). Maintain monitoring finger.
Savarese Board Trap
AC7 is the ONLY anterior cervical point that sidebends TOWARDS (F STRA). Remember: "Lucky Seven STAR" (Sidebend Towards, And Rotate away).
