Okay, welcome. My name is divine. This is episode 241 of the Divine Intervention podcasts. As I promised, I said I'd make a podcast now whenever I'm having like a review class. So I'm having a review class next week Saturday. So this one is now set in stone basically. So it's going to be on the 13th of June. It's going to be a step two CK review class. It's going to cover, I'm going to spend an hour and a half on beads and I want to have on surgery and I want to have on obi-guine and I want to have fun neural and I want to psych and three hours on internal medicine. And basically during that time period we will talk about maybe about 700 concepts that are very high yield and cover the vast majority of what is classically tested on the exam. And the sessions will hold from 6 to 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time in the morning and then we'll take a tour break and then we'll go from noon to 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time in the afternoon and then we'll take a tour break and then we'll round up between 6 and 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. And then we'll be done. And during the session you know you I'll use a whiteboard I'll unoteep my screen. You'll be able to take very good notes. And again the first either I mean I've done this with tons of people in the past but the first iteration was last week Saturday and people found it to be extremely helpful.
At least the people that attended I did in fact ask them to feed back in the end and they felt that it was a very worthwhile use of their time. So you know if you're starting out your dedicated period it's a smart thing to do. Even I personally would attend that review course if I were taking step 2 CK because you're just going to put everything together. And the thing is for the vast majority of the concepts I discuss I use like MBME style like presentations right. So I kind of talk about it in the context of the MBME and then at the same time I'll also try to explain pathophysiology. So if that's something you're interested in again reach out to me again if you're at the beginning of your dedicated period or if you're at the middle right where you've so if you are the being of your dedicated period you will help you kind of like have like a solid foundation you can basically use those notes from the session as a launching point because basically you learn most of what you'll likely see on step 2 CK during the review right. And then at the very end if you're at the very end of your dedicated period and you're about to go to exam let's see you're like two three days away from your exam then the the benefits that you will get from the courses you'll see most of the high old things one last time again in one day. So it's not like I'm asking for like a seven or a ten day commitment to anything like that.
