Parasympathetic cranial outflow: CN III, VII, IX, X (vagus). Vagus innervates thoracic and most abdominal viscera.

DO / OMM

Cranial rhythmic impulse, sacral motion, and SBS strain patterns.

CRI: ~8–12 cycles/min; flexion = internal rotation, extension = external rotation.

Flexion: SBS widens, AP diameter increases, paired bones externally rotate.

Extension: SBS narrows, AP diameter decreases, paired bones internally rotate.

Sacral torsion: Named for axis + side of rotation; e.g., R on R, L on L.

Strain patterns: Torsion, sidebending rotation, vertical compression.

Cranial diagnosis requires gentle palpation and knowledge of named landmarks: sphenobasilar synchondrosis, occiput, temporal bones.
